Chris Robinson

Chris Robinson, Vice President of MEDCO Construction, has LIVED UNITED since 2005. As part of the Baylor Healthcare System, Chris was asked by their president, Denward Freeman, to chair the internal campaign. As a newcomer, Chris thought it would be a great way to meet people and network in his new company. Impressed with Baylor’s company culture of giving back to the community, he quickly became involved with the United Way efforts.

His involvement with United Way has grown over the last three years. From chairing the MEDCO campaign in 2006 to leading the Leadership Giving Campaign for all of Baylor in 2007, Chris eventually became the Vice Chair of Professionals II, for the Construction Divison, on the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Campaign Cabinet. “United Way has benefitted me by opening my eyes to a greater degree and extent of what the need is here in our community. It has helped me to recognize the partner agencies in town and the families that they are impacting,” Chris said.

Chris is a 1982 graduate of TexasA&MUniversity – WHOOP! He has been married to his wife Denise for 25 years and has two daughters Stephanie and Alyssa. In his spare time he and Denise enjoy playing golf and serve an active role in their church.

In his work he is most proud of the fact that MEDCO builds premier healthcare facilities. “It’s not just about sticks and bricks on these projects, at the end of the day we have built cancer centers, heart hospitals and healthcare facilities that are changing people’s lives,” Chris said.

United Way would like to thank Chris Robinson for representing the LIVE UNITED message of Give. Advocate. Volunteer. in our community!
