Gaynelle Henger, a sales associate for Ebby Halliday Realtors, has LIVED UNITED for more than 30 years. As a former United Way employee, Gaynelle has the unique position of having seen inside the United Way system. Now, as a realtor and continuing supporter, she serves as an advocate for United Way through her understanding of the allocations process. “I get to be involved with the agencies and see the great work they are doing,” Gaynelle said.

Not only has Gaynelle worked on staff at United Way of Metropolitan Dallas (UWMD), she has volunteered with UWMD in a wide variety of ways. She is a member of the United Way Women of Tocqueville Steering Committee, an allocations panel volunteer and member of the Ebby Halliday campaign team. Despite all she has given to United Way, Gaynelle sees herself as the recipient of benefits saying, “United Way has benefitted me with a great circle of like-minded civic people that I can connect with. I am so grateful and in awe that this group is generous with their resources, both time and money.”

Gaynelle earned a bachelor’s degree from BaylorUniversity, is married to Mac and has a daughter, Anna, who is in college. In her five years with Ebby Halliday she has earned many accolades. Most recently, she was named to Ebby’s Honor Role and earned her spot as #13 Sales Associate for all of Ebby Halliday in 2007. In her spare time she enjoys antiquing and estate sales.
