George Prochaska makes a difference as a long-time supporter of the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC); the only authorized charitable workplace campaign allowed to solicit federal employees. He is the Deputy Regional Administrator for the U.S. General Services Administration's (GSA) five-state Greater Southwest Region headquartered in Fort Worth.
As a primary advocate for the CFC within GSA, George works closely with the campaign committee to set campaign goals and is visibly supportive of the campaign, attending events and stressing the importance of improving our communities through giving back.
"Most people come to the government to make a difference and CFC is a great way to do just that," George said.
Heading into the 2007 campaign, GSA was faced with losing several key leadership donors through retirement, equaling nearly ten percent of their overall campaign. The team refocused their efforts and the results are a testament to George's leadership, a dedicated campaign committee and the generosity of GSA employees as they realized a thirteen percent increase in total dollars and a ten percent increase in leadership gifts.
George is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is active in his church and has co-founded three dads’ groups within his local diocese. Along with serving on the Local Federal Coordinating Committee, George previously served on the YMCA Board of Directors, is a past president of the local Federal Business Association of Fort Worth/Dallas and remains active in many other community activities.
We would like to recognize and thank George Prochaska for demonstrating "iCan make a difference" through his continued support of the CFC and for championing a growing campaign at GSA - Greater Southwest Region!
