Leslie Carroll was introduced to United Way in 2000. She believed in the organization and its mission and began to give that same year through the workplace campaign at Ernst & Young, LLP. Now, an audit senior manager and the resident in Ernst & Young’s Southwest Area’s Professional Practice Group, her volunteer role at United Way of Metropolitan Dallas (UWMD) has also grown.
Leslie has continued to contribute to United Way over the past eight years and has also become a vital part of the Women’s Leadership Council (WLC) where she currently serves as Chairperson. She was an integral part in this week’s WLC Fall into Fashion event, in charge of organizing, recruiting and speaking. When asked why volunteering for United Way’s WLC was important to her, she responded, “I can expand my network of friends and associates and support the important work of United Way at the same time.”
Leslie is a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and a member of the Real Estate Council and Commercial Women’s Real Estates (CREW). She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Southern Methodist University graduating Magna Cum Laude. She is involved in several community and charitable organizations and recently completed 10 years with the Junior League.
United Way is honored to have Leslie Carroll as a supporter and would like to thank her for Living United through giving, advocating and volunteering in our community.
