Susan Hoff is the CEO and President of ChildCareGroup, a longtime United Way partner agency. Her professional experience includes the positions of teacher, child care center director, and parent educator in domestic violence and drug abuse prevention programs. She is a trainer, public speaker, and an accomplished fund developer. She has also developed curricula and educational publications for children and adults. Susan is a well-known children's advocate at the local, state, and national levels.

Prior to joining the ChildCareGroup team in 2005, Susan worked for several nonprofit organizations including Educational First Steps, Good Shepherd Community Center, and Rainbow Days.

Susan has been a United Way volunteer for more than five years, serving on the Public Policy Committee, Community Needs Assessment teams, and as a member of the 2007-08 Campaign Cabinet. She is a frequent speaker for corporate campaigns and agency events, reaching out to donors and giving specific examples of her agency's work in the community. Susan was honored as the United Way Executive Director of the Year for 2008.

ChildCareGroup is also committed to running a successful internal United Way campaign. The agency earned the honor of 2007 Agency Pacesetter Campaign of the Year and raised the most money out of more than 90 community partners.

Susan is the past president of the Texas Association for the Education of Young Children and serves on an advisory committee for the National Association for the Education of Young Children. She is a member of the Executive Committee of the Texas Early Childhood Education Coalition (TECEC) and a member of the Advisory Board of the Texas Early Care and Education Career Development System. Susan serves on the Board of the National Society for Collegiate Scholars, and she is a member of the Dallas Social Venture Partners and the Jr. League of Richardson.

A native of Midland, Texas, Susan and her husband Steve are the proud parents of three children.
