For more than 10 years, RealPage, Inc. has exemplified what it means to LIVE UNITED in our community.
“We try to LIVE UNITED throughout the year, as we believe it is a way of life rather than a one-time event,” said Hillary Proctor, human resources coordinator for RealPage.
Volunteering is an important part of that call to action. From holding a Day of Caring with a United Way partner agency to conducting a blood drive and participating in the Angel Tree program, RealPage employees are generous with their time and talents to help United Way of Metropolitan Dallas (UWMD) improve lives in our communities.
Since its inception in 1998, RealPage has held a United Way campaign. For the 2008-09 campaign, employees coordinated events and promotions around a football-themed effort. Taking it to another level was the special appearance of their executive team, also known as the “RealPage Cheerleading Squad,” dressed from head to toe in full cheerleading garb and ready to pump up the team.
After that show-stopping appearance, the fun continued with the touchdown dance competition and the much anticipated Whirlyball contest resulting in a giving level up 150 percent. For its incredible efforts RealPage was a finalist for the 2008-09 United Way Spirit of Caring Award, the most prestigious award handed out by UWMD.
United Way of Metropolitan Dallas would like to thank RealPage, Inc. for their enthusiasm and dedication to LIVING UNITED in our community.
