Small Business Administration – Processing and Disbursement Center

If you made a difference for people in need through your job every day, it would be easy to consider that your contribution to the community.

But the employees of the Small Business Administration – Processing and Disbursement Center (SBA-PDC) don’t stop there. Their hard work and dedication helped secure a 40 percent increase in its 2008 Combined Federal Campaign (CFC).

The team conducted a highly visible campaign that included a kick-off, informative emails, daily progress reports, and an “Empty your Pockets Day,” where employees were encouraged to donate everything they had in their pockets.

Through their valiant efforts, not only was there a 40 percent increase in the campaign but the team also identified 11 new Leadership Givers, individuals who contribute $1,040 or more annually to CFC.

Despite the company’s reorganization process during recent years, it has steadily increased its employee giving. The determination to give back and the leadership of those involved helped raise nearly $112,000 last year.

United Way of Metropolitan Dallas and the Combined Federal Campaign of North Central Texas would like to thank the SBA-PDC for all they do improve lives in our communities.
