Pioneer Frozen Foods

An unsung supporter of United Way, Pioneer Frozen Foods (PFF) employees pull out all the stops to increase their campaign — no matter the economic circumstances.

Its hard working employees, many of whom depend on every penny they earn, step up year after year because they know their money will make an impact in the community through United Way.

PFF’s outstanding employee participation has kept its campaign on a steady increase since 2004 and, currently, 69 percent of employees give to United Way of Metropolitan Dallas.

The company also encourages participation by matching employee donations 50 cents on the dollar, and every dollar raised above the set goal is matched dollar for dollar. This generous corporate contribution is reflective of the company culture of giving back.

Its Care Share program encourages salaried employees to give one percent of their annual salary and hourly workers to give one hour of pay per month. Care Share level employees are then qualified to win prizes and earn one paid day off.

These best practices have landed PFF in the top 50 of all companies that run a campaign in corporate per capita gift, and in the top 100 companies for employee per capita gift, on the local level.

For its dedication to our community, United Way would like to thank Pioneer Frozen Foods for LIVING UNITED in our community.
